Easter, Passover, Armenia

This year, a lot of holidays coincide. Not only do Passover and Easter overlap, but Easter falls on the same date according to both the Western and the Orthodox calendars, a rare event indeed!

It is also the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, a historical event still ignored by so many. And so, when you sit down today for a festive meal, remember this state-sponsored mass-murder that took place less than a century ago.

And so, in the craziness of finishing the semester, I am wishing all wonderful holidays, whether they involve crackers or Easter eggs.
