The International in Yiddish

When I was a kid, the father of one of my Mom’s friends, a staunch communist, was buried to the sounds of the “Internationale” on the municipal cemetery of my home town Karlsruhe, sung, of course, in German: “Völker, höö-hrt die Signaa-le…”. I was very impressed! So, thanks to Jill, here it is, in Yiddish, from a recent May 1 ceremony:
